Air Charter Team is dedicated to reducing its global warming impact, improving quality of life, and our country’s energy security.  Since 2007, Air Charter Team has led by example, committing to flying CarbonFree® through a partnership with Carbonfund.org, the country’s leading nonprofit organization offering carbon reduction and offset solutions. 

Over the past 2 years, Air Charter Team has offset hundreds of jet charter flights, totaling over 16,000 metric tons of CO2 through Carbonfund.org.  That’s over 35 million pounds of CO2.  This is equivalent to the emissions from over 37,000 barrels of oil consumed, or taking 2,900 cars off the road for one year. 

Carbonfund.org recently celebrated the milestone of offsetting over 4 billion pounds of carbon dioxide emissions – made possible by the support of longstanding partners like Air Charter Team.  2009 marks the third year of this partnership and Air Charter Team is continuing to prove itself as an industry leader in addressing climate change.

Air Charter Team’s ongoing partnership with Carbonfund.org will continue to support innovative, verified projects globally in renewable energy, energy-efficiency and reforestation that reduce carbon emissions and hasten market transformation towards a clean energy economy.  Through supporting a carbon offset program, Air Charter Team is investing in future generations and the long term sustainability of private aviation.
